Dubai is still implementing major visa changes to help long-term residents and welcome skilled workers and streamline the movement process throughout the UAE. Those who intend to move, renew their stay, or enhance the residence must update themselves on these developments.

When it is introduced, the travellers will make applications through an online system.

Following the 1 Billion Followers Summit in January 2025, Dubai introduced a long-term residency pathway for content creators. The newly established Creators HQ aims to support creative professionals. Up to 10,000 influencers, photographers, writers, and digital innovators will benefit from this initiative.
