Dubai Announces Six Landmark Initiatives to Become the “World’s Best City”
Dubai has unveiled a significant set of World’s Best City-scale projects that would make it one of the most progressive, attractive and sustainable cities in the world. His Highness, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai issued the announcements after the recent sitting of The Executive Council of Dubai on November 4.

Dubai approved a massive AED 18.3 billion Public Parks and Greenery Strategy, covering 800+ projects across the city.

2. More Affordable, High-Quality Schools
A new Policy to Expand and Promote Affordable High-Quality Schools has been approved under the Dubai Education Strategy 2033.

60 new affordable private schools by 2033
120,000 additional classroom seats for students
Reduced government fees to encourage investors
Lower land leasing costs for new school operators
Long-term goal:
Position Dubai among the top 10 cities globally for education quality.

3. 15,000+ New Aviation Jobs Under “Aviation Talent 33”

4. Plan to Make Dubai the World’s Leading Sports Hub
The Sports Sector Strategic Plan 2033 aims to position Dubai as a global sports powerhouse.
The strategy focuses on:
Attracting major international sporting events
Developing grassroots and professional athletes
Expanding youth and People of Determination sports programs
Supporting local sports clubs
Scope:
19 major programmes
75 initiatives
17 priority sports

5.Greater Disease Detection in the Early Stage to improve the health of people.
